A rock-anchoring apparatus, deliverable in kit form, and a method for grouting a bore formed in a rock or concrete formation is disclosed, the apparatus having an expansible packer for surrounding an anchor rod, the packer being configured for radial expansion, substantially excluding axial expansion in relation to such rod. The radial expansion is preferably simultaneously both toward and away from an axis of the bore. Multiple packers may be located on a common anchor rod to seal a series of compartments for individual grouting.
L'invention concerne un appareil d'ancrage de roche, pouvant être administré sous forme de kit, et un procédé de cimentation d'un alésage formé dans une formation rocheuse ou en béton, l'appareil ayant une garniture d'étanchéité expansible pour entourer une tige d'ancrage, la garniture d'étanchéité étant conçue pour une expansion radiale, excluant sensiblement une expansion axiale par rapport à une telle tige. L'expansion radiale est de préférence simultanément à la fois en direction et en éloignement d'un axe de l'alésage. De multiples garnitures d'étanchéité peuvent être situées sur une tige d'ancrage commune pour sceller une série de compartiments pour un scellement individuel.
