LADDER SAFETY SYSTEM AND LADDER COMPRISING THE SAME
The invention relates to a ladder safety system (1) for securing a ladder (2) to a supporting structure (3). The ladder safety system comprises a first securing assembly (7) and a second securing assembly (8) each comprising an elongated guideway (9), a housing (10) that is associated with the elongated guideway (9), and an elongated element (11) that is pivotally connected with the housing (10). The elongated element is movable to a position in which it is in abutting contact with the housing. Consequently, pivotable movement of the elongated element and the housing relative to each other is prevented and a locking contact between the housing and the elongated guideway is established because the housing is maintained in a tilted position with respect to the elongated guideway. Upon breaking said abutting contact the housing is movable along the elongated guideway. The invention also relates to a ladder comprising the same.
L'invention concerne un système de sécurité d'échelle (1) permettant de fixer une échelle (2) à une structure de support (3). Le système de sécurité d'échelle comprend un premier ensemble de fixation (7) et un second ensemble de fixation (8) comprenant chacun une glissière allongée (9), un logement (10) qui est associé à la glissière allongée (9), et un élément allongé (11) qui est relié de façon pivotante au logement (10). L'élément allongé peut être déplacé jusqu'à une position dans laquelle il vient en butée avec le logement. Par conséquent, le mouvement pivotant de l'élément allongé et du logement l'un par rapport à l'autre est évité et un contact de verrouillage entre le logement et la glissière allongée est établi, car le logement est maintenu dans une position inclinée par rapport à la glissière allongée.
