The invention relates to a window structure 30 for a window, comprising a fixed frame 32 and a movable frame 34. In the window structure: - at least one frame comprises horizontal seals; - the fixed frame comprises a horizontal rail 36; - the rail comprises at least one recess 38; - the movable frame can translate parallel to itself between a closing position and an opening position; - the movable frame comprises at least one wheel 40 with axis X fixed with respect to the movable frame; - the wheel rolls along the rail during the translation of the movable frame; - the recess partially houses the wheel when the movable frame is in the closing position, so as to determine a lowering a of the movable frame; and - the lowering a of the movable frame compresses the horizontal seals. Furthermore, the fixed frame comprises a lift mechanism 42 for imposing a lifting s ≤ a to the movable frame, when the movable frame is in the closing position.
