HONEYCOMB BODY WITH POROUS MATERIAL
A honeycomb body (100) having a porous ceramic honeycomb structure with a first end (105), a second end (135), and a plurality of walls (115) having wall surfaces defining a plurality of inner channels (110). A porous material is disposed on one or more of the wall surfaces of the honeycomb body (100). A method for forming a honeycomb body (100) includes depositing a porous inorganic material on a ceramic honeycomb body (100) and binding the porous inorganic material to the ceramic honeycomb body (100) to form the porous layer.
L'invention concerne un corps en nid d'abeilles (100) possédant une structure en nid d'abeilles en céramique poreuse présentant une première extrémité (105) et une seconde extrémité (135), et une pluralité de parois (115) possédant des surfaces de parois délimitant une pluralité de canaux internes (110). Un matériau poreux est disposé sur une ou plusieurs des surfaces de parois du corps en nid d'abeilles (100). Un procédé de formation d'un corps en nid d'abeilles (100) consiste à déposer un matériau inorganique poreux sur un corps en nid d'abeilles (100) en céramique et à lier le matériau inorganique poreux au corps en nid d'abeilles (100) en céramique pour former la couche poreuse.
