The present invention concerns a window comprising a frameless sash (10) defined by an inner surface and an outer surface, the frameless sash having a thickness, W10, and a fixed frame (20) having an inner face and an outer face comprising, °a fixed frame profile (21) defining a frame opening, having an outer side bounded by an outer frame perimeter mating the outer glazing perimeter and an inner side bounded by an inner frame perimeter mating the inner glazing perimeter, ° receiving elements for coupling the frameless sash to the fixed frame in a closed position, ° a cover plate (22) coupled to and covering at least 10% of a surface area of the outer side over substantially a whole of an outer perimeter of the fixed frame profile, wherein the fixed frame (20) has a thickness, W20, which is equal to the sum of thicknesses, W21 and W22, of the fixed frame profile and of the cover plate (i.e., W20 = W21 + W22), characterized in that, ° the thickness, W20, of the fixed frame is equal to the thickness, W10, of the frameless sash, within a tolerance of ± 5% (i.e., W20 = W10 (1 ± 5%)), in that ° when the frameless sash is in the closed position, the inner and outer faces of the fixed frame are flush with the inner and outer surfaces of the inner glazing (10n), respectively, and in that ° the thickness ratio, W21 / W20, of the fixed frame profile (21) to the fixed frame (20) is at least 80%.
La présente invention concerne une fenêtre comportant un châssis (10) sans cadre défini par une surface intérieure et une surface extérieure, le châssis sans cadre présentant une épaisseur, W10, et un cadre fixe (20) doté d'une face intérieure et d'une face extérieure comportant: °un profil (21) de cadre fixe définissant une ouverture de cadre, doté d'un côté extérieur délimité par un périmètre de cadre extérieur s'ajustant au périmètre de vitrage extérieur et d'un côté intérieur délimité par un périmètre de cadre intérieur s'ajustant au périmètre de vitrage intérieur, ° des éléments de réception servant à coupler le châssis sans cadre au cadre fixe dans une position fermée, ° une plaque (22) de couverture couplée à et recouvrant au moins 10% d'une aire de surface du côté extérieur sur sensiblement la totalité d'un périmètre extérieur du profil de cadre fixe, le cadre fixe (20) présentant une épaisseur, W20, qui est égale à la somme des épaisseurs, W21 et W22, du profil de cadre fixe et de la plaque de couverture (c.à.d. W20 = W21 + W22), caractérisé en ce que: ° l'épaisseur, W20, du cadre fixe est égale à l'épaisseur, W10, du châssis sans cadre, dans la limite d'une tolérance de ± 5% (c.à.d. W20 = W10 (1 ± 5%)), en ce que ° lorsque le châssis sans cadre est dans la position fermée, les faces intérieure et extérieure du cadre fixe affleurent les surfaces intérieure et extérieure du vitrage intérieur (10n), respectivement, et en ce que ° le rapport d'épaisseur, W21 / W20, du profil (21) de cadre fixe au cadre fixe (20) est d'au moins 80%.
