The protection device (1) for guardrail, wherein the guardrail comprises: a longitudinal barrier (21) having an outer surface (21a) facing a lane and delimited at the top and at the bottom by flaps (31); a supporting element (22) which can be anchored to the ground and connectable to the barrier (21) on the opposite side of the outer surface (21a); a protective body (30) associable with the barrier (21) for covering at least one portion of the barrier (21).
