OPENING/CLOSING BODY OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE
This opening/closing body opening/closing device is provided with: an opening/closing body; a closing mechanism; an opening/closing body driving unit; a control unit; and a position detection unit. The closing mechanism has an engaging part, a to-be-engaged part, a closing mechanism-side driving unit, and an interaction detection unit. The control unit causes the closing mechanism-side driving unit to carry out closing driving. After the closing driving is carried out, if the positional difference between an engage-able position and the current position of the opening/closing body is outside a prescribed range, the opening/closing body opening/closing device is used for setting the engaging part in an open state so as to enable the closing mechanism to lock the opening/closing body through engagement between the engaging part and the to-be-engaged part. As a result, even when the closing mechanism is operated while the opening/closing body is at an improper position, it is possible to set the zero position of the opening/closing body to the proper position.
