Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine hydrophobe, in Wasser redispergxerbare Polymerpulver-Zusammensetzung enthaltend a) ein Basispolymerisat mit a1) mehr als 60 Gew. -Teilen Vinyllaurat -Monomereinheiten a2 ) 5 bis 30 Gew.- Teilen Vinylacetat -Monomereinheiten, a3 ) 5 bis 30 Gew.- Teilen Ethylen-Monomereinheiten, a4) 0 bis 10 Gew.- Teilen weiterer Hilfsmonomereinheiten, wobei sich die Angaben in Gew.- Teile jeweils auf 100 Gew.-Teile aufaddieren, b) 0,5 bis 30 Gew.-% ein oder mehrere Schutzkolloide, c) 0 bis 30 Gew.-% Antiblockmittel, d) 0 bis 20 Gew.-% Organosiliciumverbindung, e) 0 bis 20 Gew.-% Fettsäure oder Derivate der Fettsäuren, wobei die Angaben in Gew.-% auf das Gesamtgewicht des Polymerisats a) bezogen sind.
