METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING AGAINST STRUCTURAL FAILURES OF DISCONNECTION JOINTS, PREFERABLY GERBER SADDLE JOINTS
Method for protecting against structural failures of Gerber saddle joints (5), wherein the joint comprises a first (8) and a second bracket (9) at a longitudinal end of a first girder (4) and a second girder (4), respectively, the girders being intended for being joined as an extension of one another by resting the first bracket on the second bracket or vice versa, the method comprising the steps of providing a cradle (11) that has an anchoring part that can be structurally anchored to the first girder and a bearing part extending from the anchoring part, and anchoring the cradle, by means of the anchoring part thereof, to the first girder such that it is adjacent to the first bracket but at a distance therefrom and is arranged such that the bearing part extends so as to project above the first girder and below the second girder and so as to be adjacent to the second bracket but at a distance therefrom, in order to support the second girder on the first girder by means of said cradle in the event of said joint failing.
L'invention concerne un procédé de protection contre les défaillances structurelles de joints à dos d'âne Gerber (5). Le joint comprend un premier support (8) et un second support (9) respectivement au niveau d'une extrémité longitudinale d'une première poutre (4) et d'une seconde poutre (4), les poutres étant destinées à être reliées sous la forme d'une extension l'une de l'autre par appui du premier support sur le second support ou vice versa. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à fournir un berceau (11) qui a une partie d'ancrage qui peut être structurellement ancrée à la première poutre et une partie de support s'étendant à partir de la partie d'ancrage, et à ancrer le berceau, au moyen de sa partie d'ancrage, à la première poutre de telle sorte qu'elle soit adjacente au premier support mais à une certaine distance de celui-ci et qu'elle soit agencée de telle sorte que la partie de support s'étende de manière à faire saillie au-dessus de la première poutre et au-dessous de la seconde poutre et de façon à être adjacente au second support mais à une certaine distance de celui-ci, afin de supporter la seconde poutre sur la première poutre au moyen du berceau en cas de défaillance du joint.
