CORNER JOINT CLIP WITH SELF-BACKING PLATE
A framed assembly includes a first frame member providing an inner vertical wall extending between opposing front and back surfaces and defining a slot, and a second frame member positioned adjacent the first frame member at a corner joint and providing a horizontal wall extending between opposing front and back surfaces of the second frame member. A clip having opposing front and back sides provides a backing plate extending from the back side and a projection extending from the front side. The backing plate is received within an interior of the first frame member via the slot, and the projection is received within an interior of the second frame member adjacent the horizontal wall.
L'invention concerne un ensemble encadré comprenant un premier élément cadre fournissant une paroi verticale intérieure s'étendant entre des surfaces avant et arrière opposées et définissant une fente, et un second élément cadre positionné adjacent au premier élément cadre au niveau d'une articulation d'angle et fournissant une paroi horizontale s'étendant entre des surfaces avant et arrière opposées du second élément cadre. Une pince ayant des côtés avant et arrière opposés fournit une plaque de support s'étendant à partir du côté arrière et une saillie s'étendant à partir du côté avant. La plaque de support est reçue à l'intérieur du premier élément cadre par l'intermédiaire de la fente et la saillie est reçue à l'intérieur du second élément cadre adjacent à la paroi horizontale.
