The present invention is directed to a doorframe (11) comprising: an L profile, having a first panel (13a) and a second panel (13b), wherein an angle between the first panel and the second panel is 90 degrees, and wherein the first panel (13a) is longitudinally splitable; a base profile (14), having a first mortise (18); and an opposite profile (15) to the second panel (13b), the opposite profile (15) is connected or connectable to the base profile (14), thereby a width of the doorframe (11) can be shortened for conforming different widths of a wall.
