DISPOSAL WITH ABOVE SINK INSTALLATION
The present invention provides a disposal with above sink installation where the disposal can be inserted through a drain opening in a basin from above the basin. The disposal includes a housing, a grind assembly, a motor assembly, and a mount assembly. The mount assembly is operable to mount the housing to the drain opening in the basin. The mount assembly includes a flange and a securing mechanism. A diameter of the outer surface of the housing is less than a diameter of the drain opening in the basin. The housing is operable to be inserted through the drain opening in the basin from the top surface of the floor of the basin. The housing is operable to be secured to the drain opening in the basin from the bottom surface of the floor of the basin.
