Die Erfindung betrifft Bohrinseln und/oder Förderinseln zur Suche, zur Förderung, zur Aufbereitung und/oder zum Weitertransport von Erdöl oder Erdgas. Diese zeichnen sich insbesondere durch eine einfache ortsfest Platzierbarkeit und wieder Entfernbarkeit aus. Dazu umfasst die Bohrinsel und/oder Förderinsel eine schwimmfähige Schwergewichtsgründung, einen Rohrturm und eine schwimmfähige Plattform oder Bohrschiff. Die schwimmfähige Schwergewichtsgründung weist eine Massivplatte aus Beton, Stahlbeton, einem Verbund mit Beton oder einer Kombination davon aus. Weiterhin ist wenigstens eine befüllbare Kammer vorhanden, die zum Schwimmen leer und die zur Suche, zur Förderung, zur Aufbereitung und/oder zum Weitertransport von Erdöl oder Erdgas gefüllt ist. Der Rohrturm ist beidseitig offen und mit der Schwergewichtsgründung so verbunden, dass der Rohrturm die Schwergewichtsgründung durchschneidet und diese wenigstens in Richtung Wasseroberfläche überragt. Weiterhin ist die schwimmfähige Plattform oder das Bohrschiff jeweils zum Tragen von Einrichtungen zur Suche, zur Förderung, zur Aufbereitung und/oder zum Weitertransport von Erdöl oder Erdgas mit dem Rohrturm verbunden.
