ENERGY ABSORBING BOLLARD – IMPACT ABSORBER
An energy absorbing bollard includes two different configurations of energy absorbing elements to allow the bollard to effectively absorb both low level and high level impacts. The energy absorbing elements comprise a cartridge including a series of radially disposed impact cells wherein the impact cells are symmetrically disposed in two layers.
Bollard amortisseur qui comprend deux configurations différentes d'éléments amortisseur pour permettre au bollard d'absorber efficacement à la fois des impacts de faible violence et de grande violence. Les éléments amortisseur comprennent une cartouche comportant une série de cellules d'impact disposées radialement, les cellules d'impact étant disposées symétriquement en deux couches.
