AN INTEGRATED HINGE FOR FURNITURE
An integrated hinge for connecting an article of a furniture assembly to one or more articles or a main body of the furniture assembly comprising a multi-rod (1, 2, 3) rigid structure and a flexible membrane. The multi-rod rigid structure comprises two or more rods (1, 2, 3) arranged in a default shape, wherein each of the rods (1, 2, 3) functions as a hinge arm, and wherein the rods (1, 2, 3) are lateral-rotatable or pivot-able about an intersecting or meeting point of the rods (1, 2, 3). The flexible membrane has a three-dimensional contour configured to wrap around the multi-rod (1, 2, 3) rigid structure tightly, fixing the multi-rod (1, 2, 3) rigid structure in its default shape. The flexible membrane can be configured to wrap around the integrated hinge and articles of furniture assembly forming a single integrated furniture piece. The elasticity in the flexible membrane turns the integrated hinge into a spring hinge.
La présente invention concerne une charnière intégrée destinée à relier un article d'un ensemble meuble à un ou plusieurs articles ou à un corps principal d'un ensemble meuble qui comprend une structure rigide à plusieurs tiges (1, 2, 3) et une membrane souple. La structure rigide à plusieurs tiges comprend deux tiges ou plus (1, 2, 3) disposées selon une forme par défaut, chacune des tiges (1, 2, 3) fonctionne comme un bras de charnière, et les tiges (1, 2, 3) étant rotatives latéralement ou pouvant pivoter autour d'un point d'intersection ou d'un point de rencontre des tiges (1, 2, 3). La membrane souple a un contour tridimensionnel conçu pour s'enrouler autour de la structure rigide à plusieurs tiges (1, 2, 3) de manière ferme, fixant la structure rigide à plusieurs tiges (1, 2, 3) dans sa forme par défaut. La membrane souple peut être conçue pour s'enrouler autour de la charnière intégrée et des articles de l'ensemble meuble formant une pièce de meuble intégrée unique. L'élasticité de la membrane souple transforme la charnière intégrée en une charnière à ressort.
