SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURE PARCEL DELIVERY
A system and method for a secure parcel securing device and accompanying application that notifies a parcel recipient when a parcel is delivered, when the device is locked and unlocked, and when the device is moved. The device locks the parcel in a secure container so that it cannot be stolen and if the device is tampered with an alarm sounds, bringing attention directly to the location of the stolen parcel or the device may be located and retrieved by GPS. The device also allows the parcel deliverer to scan the parcel with the barcode scanner and drop the parcel in the container whereby a motor opens and closes the container by extending and retracting a rope built into the top of the container to seal and unseal the container.
La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé destinés à un dispositif de sécurisation de colis sécurisé et une application d'accompagnement qui notifie un destinataire de colis lorsqu'un colis est livré, lorsque le dispositif est verrouillé et déverrouillé, et lorsque le dispositif est déplacé. Le dispositif verrouille le colis dans un conteneur sécurisé de manière à ce qu'il ne puisse pas être volé et si le dispositif est altéré une alarme retentit, attirant l'attention directement sur l'emplacement du colis volé ou le dispositif peut être localisé et retrouvé par GPS. Le dispositif permet également au livreur de colis de scanner le colis avec le lecteur de code à barres et de déposer le colis dans le conteneur, grâce à quoi un moteur ouvre et ferme le conteneur en étendant et en rétractant un câble intégré dans la partie supérieure du conteneur pour fermer de façon étanche et rouvrir le conteneur.
