ACTUATOR AND CABLE-OPERATED DRIVE MECHANISM FOR CLOSURE PANEL
A cable-operated drive mechanism for a vehicle sliding closure panel includes a housing and a motor configured to selectively rotate an output shaft. A cable drum is supported in the housing for rotation in response to rotation of the output shaft. A first cable coupled to the cable drum extends through a first cable port for operable attachment to the vehicle sliding closure panel. An adjuster pulley in the housing is moveable between assembly and installed positions. A second cable coupled to the cable drum engages the adjuster pulley and extends, in non-reversed bending fashion, through a second cable port for operable attachment to the vehicle sliding closure panel. The second cable has an assembly free-length when the adjuster pulley is in the assembly position and an installed free-length when the adjuster pulley is in the installed position, with the installed free-length being less than the assembly free-length.
L'invention concerne un mécanisme d'entraînement actionné par câble pour un panneau de fermeture coulissant de véhicule. Ledit mécanisme comprend un carter et un moteur conçu pour faire tourner sélectivement un arbre de sortie. Un tambour de câble est supporté dans le carter pour une rotation en réponse à la rotation de l'arbre de sortie. Un premier câble couplé au tambour de câble s'étend à travers un premier orifice de câble pour une fixation fonctionnelle au panneau de fermeture coulissant de véhicule. Une poulie de réglage dans le boîtier est mobile entre des positions d'assemblage et d'installation. Un second câble couplé au tambour de câble entre en prise avec la poulie de réglage et s'étend, de façon non inversée, à travers un second orifice de câble pour une fixation fonctionnelle au panneau de fermeture coulissant de véhicule. Le second câble a une longueur libre d'assemblage lorsque la poulie de réglage est dans la position d'assemblage et une longueur libre installée lorsque la poulie de réglage est dans la position installée, la longueur libre installée étant inférieure à la longueur libre d'assemblage.
