Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Bauteil aus einem Faserverbundwerkstoff sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung desselben, wobei bei dem Faserverbundwerkstoff Fasern (8) aus Keramik und / oder Kohlenstoff in einer Matrix (9) aus Keramik und / oder Kohlenstoff und / oder einem Polymer eingebettet sind und wobei das Bauteil eine Oberfläche aufweist, von der zumindest ein Teil als Kontaktfläche zum mechanischen Kontakt mit einem Kontaktpartner ausgebildet ist, und wobei Festschmierstoffpartikel (10) in mindestens einem Oberflächenrandbereich des Bauteils angrenzend an die Kontaktfläche in die Matrix (9) eingelagert sind, wobei die Festschmierstoffpartikel (10) im Gefüge mit der Matrix und / oder den Fasern verzahnt oder dispergiert sind.
