ILLUMINATION DEVICE
This lighting device (1) is provided with: a frame forming section (120) which is provided on the end of a light-emitting panel (110) having a light emitting surface (111) and in at least one position around the light-emitting panel, and which has a light region (131) and a dark region (132); a light source (140) which emits the light that is incident on the frame forming section; and a light intensity adjustment unit (22) which, of the light incident from the light source onto the frame forming section, weakens the intensity of light traveling from the dark region towards a space (112) facing the light emission surface more than the intensity of light traveling from the light region towards the space, or, of the light incident from the light source onto the frame forming section, strengthens the intensity of light traveling from the light region towards the space more than the intensity of light traveling from the dark region towards the space.
