AN EXCAVATOR HAVING A LIFTING DEVICE FOR LIFTING A PALLET
An excavator (1) having a lifting device (2) for lifting a pallet comprising a chassis (3) having a boom (4) mounted thereon and a dipper arm (5) pivotally coupled to a distal end of said boom to which an implement, such as a bucket, may be attached, said lifting device comprising a mast (12) upon which is slideably mounted a carriage (20), a pair of spaced tines (21, 22) being provided on said carriage for supporting a pallet thereon, wherein said mast is mounted on said dipper arm of said excavator to be arranged in a vertical or substantially vertical operative orientation such that, in use, said carriage can be moved between lowered and raised positions on said mast when the mast is mounted on said boom, wherein at least one ground engaging load bearing member (28, 29) is provided at a lower end of said mast.
L'invention concerne une excavatrice (1) comprenant un dispositif de levage (2) destiné à lever une palette comprenant un châssis (3) doté d'une flèche (4) montée sur celui-ci et un bras de manœuvre (5) couplé de façon pivotante à une extrémité distale de la flèche à laquelle un outil, tel qu'un godet, peut être fixé. Ledit dispositif de levage comprend un mât (12) sur lequel est monté de façon coulissante un chariot (20), une paire de dents espacées (21, 22) étant disposées sur ledit chariot pour supporter une palette sur celui-ci. Le mât est monté sur le bras de manœuvre de l'excavatrice pour être disposé dans une orientation fonctionnelle verticale ou sensiblement verticale de telle sorte que, lors de l'utilisation, le chariot peut être déplacé entre des positions abaissée et levée sur le mât lorsque ce dernier est monté sur la flèche. Au moins un élément de support de charge venant en prise avec le sol (28, 29) est disposé à une extrémité inférieure du mât.
