The present invention relates to a part (1) made of a TiC-NbC-Al2O3 ternary ceramic-ceramic composite material, characterized in that it comprises TiC in an amount of 74% to 95% by weight relative to the total weight of said material, NbC in an amount of 0.1% to 5% by weight relative to the total weight of said material, and Al2O3 in an amount of 1 to 25 % by weight relative to the total weight of said material. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such a part.
