EXPANSION JOINT SEALING SYSTEM HAVING SHIELDING PROPERTIES
An expansion joint sealing system comprises a core body having an EMP, EMI, RFI, electronic surveillance and/or EMR shielding/barrier material introduced in the core body as at least one of a component or layer, disposed on the core body as a coating or wrapping, or disposed beneath the core body. The core body with the shielding/barrier material is configured to expand and contract when compressed between substrates forming an expansion joint to accommodate movement of the substrates and maintain a seal of the expansion joint.
Cette invention concerne un système d'étanchéité de joint de dilatation comprenant un corps central ayant un matériau de protection/barrière contre les impulsions électromagnétiques, les interférences électromagnétiques, le brouillage radioélectrique, la surveillance électronique et/ou le rayonnement électromagnétique introduit dans le corps central en tant que composant ou couche, disposé sur le corps central sous la forme de revêtement ou cellophanage, ou disposé en dessous du corps central. Le corps central avec le matériau de protection/barrière est configuré pour se dilater et se contracter lorsqu'il est comprimé entre des substrats formant un joint de dilatation pour recevoir le mouvement des substrats et maintenir une étanchéité du joint de dilatation.
