A vehicle door hinge (1) for a vehicle door (4) opening vertically, comprising: a first hinge part (2) adapted to be attached to a vehicle frame (5) comprising a pivot attachment means (6), a second hinge part (3) adapted to be attached to the vehicle door (4) attached to the pivot attachment means (6) of the first hinge part (2) configured to allow the second hinge part (3) to rotate the vehicle door (4) in an opening direction or closing direction between a closed position and an open position, a stopper part (7) attached to the pivot attachment means (6) of the first hinge part (2) at a distance from a mass centre (M) of the stopper part (7), a locking mechanism (8) for locking the stopper part (7) position relative the second hinge part (3), wherein the locking mechanism (8) is moveable between an unlocked position and a locked position, wherein the stopper part (7) in the unlocked position is arranged to be moved by gravity to a resting position where it is adjacent or abutting the first hinge part (2) and stopped by the first hinge part (2) from rotating in the opening direction but free to rotate in the other direction. The damages of the tailgate can be avoided when parking in garages with low ceilings or in parking spaces with other obstacles.
L'invention concerne une charnière de portière de véhicule (1) pour une portière de véhicule (4) s'ouvrant verticalement, comprenant : une première partie de charnière (2) conçue pour être fixée à un châssis de véhicule (5) comprenant un moyen de fixation à pivot (6), une deuxième partie de charnière (3) conçue pour être fixée à la portière de véhicule (4) fixée au moyen de fixation à pivot (6) de la première partie de charnière (2) configurée pour permettre à la deuxième partie de charnière (3) de faire tourner la portière de véhicule (4) dans une direction d'ouverture ou de fermeture entre une position fermée et une position ouverte, une partie butée (7) fixée au moyen de fixation à pivot (6) de la première partie de charnière (2) à une certaine distance d'un centre de masse (M) de la partie butée (7), un mécanisme de verrouillage (8) permettant de verrouiller la position de la partie butée (7) par rapport à la deuxième partie de charnière (3), le mécanisme de verrouillage (8) étant mobile entre une position déverrouillée et une position verrouillée, la partie butée (7) dans la position déverrouillée étant agencée pour être déplacée par gravité jusqu'à une position de repos où elle est adjacente à la première partie de charnière (2) ou en butée contre celle-ci et immobilisée en rotation dans la direction d'ouverture par la première partie de charnière (2) mais libre de tourner dans l'autre direction. Les dommages au hayon peuvent être évités lors du stationnement dans des garages avec un plafond bas ou dans des espaces de stationnement avec d'autres obstacles.
