LOCKING DEVICE FOR WASTE CONTAINER
The present invention provides a locking device (100) for a waste container (2) that keeps the lid (4) of the container closed when the container is knocked over on its side, as may arise from a sudden jerking or jarring motion, such as by impact with the ground, to prevent spillage of its contents. The locking device allows the lid to open automatically when the waste container is tipped over by a dumping operation. The locking device includes a sliding block (500) slidable between a locked position and an open position, and a pendulum weight (600) detachably attached to a magnet (512), when detached from the magnet, the pendulum weight blocks the sliding block from sliding to the open position. When attached to the magnet, the pendulum weight allows the sliding block to slide to the open position.
La présente invention concerne un appareil de fermeture (100) pour récipient de déchets (2) qui maintient le couvercle (4) du récipient fermé lorsque le récipient est renversé sur son côté, comme cela peut se produire à cause d'un mouvement brusque ou de secousse soudain, par exemple lors d'impact sur le sol, pour empêcher un déversement de son contenu.
