A subfloor (10, 410, 510, 610, 710) and subfloor anchoring system (14, 414, 514, 614, 714) are disclosed, including a subfloor anchor (50, 150, 350) adhesively attached to a slab (22). The subfloor anchor can include an anchor base (54, 154, 354) and an anchor pin (58, 158, 358), with the anchor base adhesively attached to the slab, and the anchor pin attached to the anchor base and advanceable towards the anchor base. The anchor pin contacts an upper surface of a subfloor component and to anchor the subfloor to the slab.
