FIBRE-REINFORCED SUPPORT POLES
A support pole (2) is provided which extends along a longitudinal axis (L). The support pole (2) comprises a plurality of split lengths (4) of bamboo or similar tubular plant material in a longitudinally parallel arrangement (5) extending along the longitudinal axis (L); at least one reinforcing polymer fibre (6) running substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis (L); and a matrix material (12) that encapsulates the plurality of split lengths (4) and the at least one reinforcing polymer fibre (6).
L'invention concerne un poteau de support (2) qui s'étend le long d'un axe longitudinal (L). Le poteau de support (2) comprend une pluralité de longueurs divisées (4) en bambou ou en matériau végétal tubulaire similaire selon un agencement longitudinalement parallèle (5) s'étendant le long de l'axe longitudinal (L) ; au moins une fibre de polymère de renforcement (6) s'étendant sensiblement parallèlement à l'axe longitudinal (L) ; et un matériau de matrice (12) qui encapsule la pluralité de longueurs divisées (4) et la ou les fibres de polymère de renforcement (6).
