Disclosed is a space layout method suitable for urban updating construction. The urban greenbelts are arranged by using excavated soil generated by underground space facility construction and urban water system renovation, such that the land parcel terrain is remodeled, and the space level is enriched; and the functions of urban travel, rest, flood control and drainage etc. can be fulfilled, urban spatial forms can also be enriched, land is intensively used, and project investment is saved on. The new-type space layout method is also advantageous in promoting the intensive construction of projects, overcomes the disadvantage of sporadic split project construction, improves production efficiency, shortens the construction period and reduces the impact.
