The invention relates to a water distribution device (1) for a shower installation, the distribution device (1) being a handheld shower head or overhead shower head, the distribution device (1) comprising a distribution head (12) configured to be connected to a water supply pipe, the head (12) comprising: - a first group of water ejection nozzles (16) arranged on a first face (12a) of the head (12); - a second group of water ejection nozzles (18) arranged on a second face (12b) of the head (12), the second group of nozzles (18) being oriented such that, when the distribution device (1) is in a use position allowing a jet of water expelled by the first group of nozzles (16) to be oriented downward and forward, the jet of water expelled by the second group of nozzles (18) is oriented upward and forward, so as to generate a jet in a bell shape.
