IMPROVED SPACER FRAME WITH RISING LOCKING MEMBER
A spacer frame assembly and method of manufacturing that includes a substantially linear channel comprising two lateral walls connected by a base wall, the channel having first and second ends that when assembled, includes at least three sides and corresponding corners between each of the sides; the linear channel further includes a nose portion of the first end and a receiving portion of the second end having a channel for receiving the nose portion; and the nose portion comprising a first undulation in the first end and the receiving portion comprising a second undulation in the second end. The first and second undulations nest when the ends are in an assembled position.
L'invention concerne un ensemble de cadre d'espacement et un procédé de fabrication, qui comprend un canal sensiblement linéaire comprenant deux parois latérales reliées par une paroi de base, le canal ayant des première et seconde extrémités qui, lorsqu'elles sont assemblées, comprennent au moins trois côtés et des coins correspondants entre chacun des côtés; le canal linéaire comprend en outre une partie nez de la première extrémité et une partie de réception de la seconde extrémité ayant un canal pour recevoir la partie nez; et la partie nez comprend une première ondulation dans la première extrémité et la partie de réception comprend une seconde ondulation dans la seconde extrémité. Les première et seconde ondulations s'emboîtent lorsque les extrémités sont en position assemblée.
