The present invention relates to a connecting member for connecting a first pipe and a second pipe. The connecting member comprises: a first end section configured to be connected to the first pipe; a second end section configured to be connected to the second pipe; and a middle section located between the first end section and the second end section The connecting member is configured to be a hollow profile which is open at end sides; and the connecting member is provided, at a peripheral side, with an opening which at least extends in the middle section. The technical effect of the connecting member lies in avoiding the welding connection of two pipes. The present invention further relates to a beam-column connection joint, a beam-column assembly and a manufacturing method therefor.
