REINFORCED MANHOLE COVER GASKET
A reinforced gasket for sealing a manhole, the gasket comprising a reinforcement ring having an upper surface and a generally planar lower surface; and a sealing assembly comprising a first ring and a second ring with an intermediate member extending between the first ring and the second ring, the intermediate member defining a contact surface; wherein the reinforcement ring is disposed between the first ring and the second ring of the sealing assembly such that the upper surface of the reinforcement ring is in contact with the contact surface of the seal ring.
L'invention concerne un joint d'étanchéité renforcé pour sceller un trou d'homme, le joint d'étanchéité comprenant une bague de renforcement ayant une surface supérieure et une surface inférieure généralement plane ; et un ensemble d'étanchéité comprenant une première bague et une seconde bague ayant un élément intermédiaire s'étendant entre la première bague et la seconde bague, l'élément intermédiaire définissant une surface de contact ; la bague de renforcement étant disposée entre la première bague et la seconde bague de l'ensemble d'étanchéité de telle sorte que la surface supérieure de la bague de renforcement est en contact avec la surface de contact de la bague d'étanchéité.
