PRE-MANUFACTURED LOAD BEARING WALLS FOR A MULTI-STORY BUILDING
A multi-story building is provided with load bearing walls that are able to withstand vertical loads and lateral loads. The building may be a low-rise building or a mid-rise building. The load bearing walls, as well as floor-ceiling panels, corridor panels, utility walls, and other parts of the building, are pre-manufactured off‑site and then installed on-site at the site of the building. The floor-ceiling panels are hung from the load bearing walls and are capable to receive and transfer lateral and vertical loads, as well as providing improved sound proofing and fire rating for the building.
Un bâtiment à plusieurs étages est pourvu de murs porteurs qui peuvent résister à des charges verticales et à des charges latérales. Le bâtiment peut être un bâtiment de faible hauteur ou un bâtiment de hauteur moyenne. Les murs porteurs, ainsi que des panneaux plancher-plafond, des panneaux de couloir, des parois de service et d'autres parties du bâtiment, sont préfabriqués, puis installés sur place dans le bâtiment. Les panneaux plancher-plafond sont accrochés aux murs porteurs et peuvent recevoir et transférer des charges latérales et verticales, ainsi que permettre une amélioration de l'insonorisation et du classement du matériel incendie du bâtiment.
