GEOPOLYMER BINDER PRODUCTION METHOD
The invention is related to the production of geopolymer binders using slags generated by blast furnaces and basic oxygen furnaces during iron and steel production. With the invention, geopolymer binders which do not require processes such as thermal curing, water curing or steam curing, and which show high compressive strength can be produced. With the invention, the basic oxygen furnace slag can be used as a geopolymer binder material and the environmental and economic problems caused by the same can be reduced. A geopolymer binder in paste form obtained by the said method and the use thereof is also described.
L'invention concerne la production de liants géopolymères à l'aide de laitiers produits par des hauts-fourneaux et des fours à oxygène basiques pendant la production de fer et d'acier. Grâce à l'invention, des liants géopolymères qui ne nécessitent pas de processus tels qu'un durcissement thermique, un durcissement à l'eau ou un durcissement à la vapeur et qui présentent une résistance à la compression élevée peuvent être produits. Grâce à l'invention, le laitier de four à oxygène basique peut être utilisé en tant que matériau liant géopolymère et les problèmes environnementaux et économiques provoqués par celui-ci peuvent être réduits. L'invention concerne également un liant géopolymère sous forme de pâte obtenu par ledit procédé et son utilisation.
