Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wandhalter (1) für eine vorgehängte hinterlüftete Fassade, umfassend ein Trägerteil (2), eine Befestigungseinrichtung (3) zur Befestigung des Trägerteils (2) an einer tragenden Konstruktion, und ein Befestigungsschwert (4), welches zur zumindest mittelbaren Befestigung zumindest eines Verkleidungselements der vorgehängten hinterlüfteten Fassade ausgebildet ist, ein Verbindungsteil (5), das einerseits am Befestigungsschwert (4) ausgebildet oder angebracht ist und andererseits über eine Verbindung (6) an das Trägerteil (2) angebracht ist, wobei diese Verbindung (6) zwischen Verbindungsteil (5) und Trägerteil (2) in einem Vormontagezustand des Wandhalters (1), in dem das Trägerteil (2) nicht mittels der Befestigungseinrichtung (3) an der tragenden Konstruktion befestigt ist, verliersicher ausgebildet ist, und wobei die Verbindung (6) zwischen Verbindungsteil (5) und Trägerteil (2) in einem Montagezustand des Wandhalters (1), in dem das Trägerteil (2) mittels der Befestigungseinrichtung (3) an der tragenden Konstruktion befestigt ist, durch die von der Befestigungseinrichtung (3) ausgehende Andruckkraft zwischen Trägerteil (2) und tragender Konstruktion tragfähig für die hinterlüftete Fassade ausgebildet ist.
