Provided is a rain cover device that: can be installed not only around a column, but also in other locations; can reduce space when a waterproof sheet is accommodated; and enables the waterproof sheet to be easily spread when the waterproof sheet is to be spread. The rain cover device 1 is used on a waterproof-requiring portion Y1 of a structure 6. The rain cover device 1 comprises: a base part 21 that is detachably mounted to an installation surface X1; and a sheet part 3 that is supported by the base part 21, covers the waterproof-requiring portion Y1, and blocks rainwater. The sheet part 3 comprises: a shaft 31 that is rotatably supported with respect to the base part 21; and a waterproof sheet 32 that has one end, in the longitudinal direction, that is fixed to the shaft 31 and can be wound around the shaft 31.
