COATED BUILDING PANELS
Described herein is a coated building panel comprising an acoustical body comprising a first major surface and a side surface that intersects the first major surface, a coating applied to the first major surface, the coating comprising a polymeric binder, a pigment, and a hydrophobic component present in an amount ranging from about 1.0 wt. % to about 8.0 wt. % based on the total weight of the coating; and wherein the pigment and polymeric binder are present in a weight ratio ranging from about 3.5:1 to about 6.5:1.
L'invention concerne un panneau de construction revêtu comprenant un corps acoustique présentant une première surface principale et une surface latérale qui coupe la première surface principale, un revêtement appliqué sur la première surface principale, le revêtement comprenant un liant polymère, un pigment et un composant hydrophobe présent dans une quantité allant d'environ 1,0 % en poids à environ 8,0 % en poids sur la base du poids total du revêtement ; et le pigment et le liant polymère étant présents selon un rapport pondéral allant d'environ 3,5:1 à environ 6,5:1.
