A DRILL HEAD INJECTION SYSTEM FOR A SELF-DRILLING ROCK BOLT ASSEMBLY
An injection system for a self-drilling rock bolt assembly (1), the system including: a receptacle (2) to be fixed in use to a drill head (4) of the self-drilling rock bolt assembly (1), the receptacle (2) having a nozzle receiving end (5) and an opening (6) at the other; a replaceable canister (7) to be located within said receptacle (2) in use, said canister (7) adapted to supply two or more substances for use in installing the rock bolt assembly (1) through said nozzle receiving end (5); and a plunger system (8) operatively associated with said receptacle (2) adjacent said opening (6) at said other end and positioned along a longitudinal axis (XX) of the drill head (4); the plunger system (8) including two or more plungers (9) that are activated in use to drive the substances within the canister (7) when located within the receptacle (2), delivering the substances by way of a nozzle (21) mounted to the nozzle receiving end (5) into the self-drilling rock bolt assembly (1).
L'invention concerne un système d'injection pour un ensemble boulon d'ancrage auto-foreur (1), le système comprenant : un réceptacle (2) devant être fixé en utilisation à une tête de forage (4) de l'ensemble boulon d'ancrage auto-foreur (1), le réceptacle (2) ayant une extrémité de réception de buse (5) et une ouverture (6) au niveau de l'autre ; une cartouche remplaçable (7) devant être située à l'intérieur dudit réceptacle (2) en utilisation, ladite cartouche (7) étant conçue pour apporter au moins deux substances pour une utilisation lors de l'installation de l'ensemble boulon d'ancrage (1) à travers ladite extrémité de réception de buse (5) ; et un système de piston plongeur (8) associé de manière fonctionnelle audit réceptacle (2) adjacent à ladite ouverture (6) au niveau de ladite autre extrémité et positionné le long d'un axe longitudinal (XX) de la tête de forage (4) ; le système de piston plongeur (8) comprenant au moins deux pistons plongeurs (9) qui sont activés en utilisation pour entraîner les substances à l'intérieur de la cartouche (7) lorsqu'elle est située à l'intérieur du réceptacle (2), en distribuant les substances au moyen d'une buse (21) montée sur l'extrémité de réception de buse (5) dans l'ensemble boulon d'ancrage auto-foreur (1).
