FIRE RETARDANT SHEATHING SYSTEM FOR BUILDINGS
A fire retardant sheathing system comprises multiple fluid or air carrying hoses, a pump-manifold unit, a fire resistant cover, a winch unit, and sets of anchor members and tethers. The hoses include a pair of hoses utilized as rails and multiple perimeter hoses. The pump-manifold unit selectively pressurizes each hose for, at least partially or fully, forming a hose frame structure over and around the building. The winch unit, installed on a roof of the building, has a cable coupled to the fire resistant cover. Upon coupling, the winch unit and the pump-manifold unit co-operatively pull the fire resistant cover over the pair of hoses utilized as rails at least until the fire resistant cover is drawn over the perimeter hoses. The anchor members help to secure ends of the hoses to the ground surface. The tethers are used to secure the fire resistant cover to the ground surface.
La présente invention concerne un système de revêtement ignifuge comprenant de multiples tuyaux de transport de fluide ou d'air, une unité de collecteur de pompe, un couvercle résistant au feu, une unité de treuil et des ensembles d'éléments d'ancrage et d'attaches. Les tuyaux comprennent une paire de tuyaux utilisés comme rails et de multiples tuyaux de périmètre. L'unité de collecteur de pompe met sous pression de manière sélective chaque tuyau pour former, au moins partiellement ou complètement, une structure de cadre de tuyaux sur et autour du bâtiment. L'unité de treuil, installée sur un toit du bâtiment, a un câble couplé au couvercle résistant au feu. Lors du couplage, l'unité de treuil et l'unité de collecteur de pompe tirent en coopération le couvercle résistant au feu sur la paire de tuyaux utilisée comme rails au moins jusqu'à ce que le couvercle résistant au feu soit tiré sur les tuyaux de périmètre.
