LOADING DOCK AUTOMATED TRAILER DOOR SYSTEMS
An automated door operating system (100) for use with a trailer door (TD), the system comprising: a counterbalance shaft (126, 326) configured to be operably coupled to the trailer door (TD), wherein rotation of the counterbalance shaft (126, 326) moves the trailer door (TD) between a closed position and an open position; and a drive unit (102) having a torsion member (124) operably coupled to the counterbalance shaft (126, 136); and a drive member (103) rotatably engaged with the torsion member (124), the drive member having an engagement portion (106) accessible external to the trailer door (TD), wherein rotation of the drive member (103) via the engagement portion (106) rotates the torsion member (124) to move the trailer door (TD) between the closed and open positions.
