The invention relates to a vehicle storage device comprising a lid (20) mounted so as to pivot about a first transverse axis on a housing (10) between open and closed positions, wherein first resilient means return the lid to the open position, a push-push mechanism capable of locking the lid in the closed position, as well as a safety mechanism comprising a pendulum (36) mounted so as to pivot about a second transverse axis (C) on the housing and comprising a locking member (38) provided to co-operate in abutment with an element (39) of the lid when the housing is subjected to an acceleration in a longitudinal direction so as to prevent the unintentional opening of the lid, the safety mechanism also comprising second resilient means (40) that return the pendulum to a rest position in which it bears against a first abutment (42) provided on the housing.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de rangement pour véhicule comportant un couvercle (20) monté pivotant autour d'un premier axe transversal sur un boîtier (10) entre des positions ouverte et fermée, des premiers moyens élastiques rappelant ledit couvercle vers ladite position ouverte, un mécanisme à double poussée apte à verrouiller ledit couvercle en position fermée, ainsi qu'un mécanisme de sécurité comprenant un pendule (36) monté pivotant autour d'un second axe transversal (C) sur ledit boîtier et comprenant un organe de blocage (38) prévu pour coopérer en butée avec un élément (39) dudit couvercle lorsque ledit boîtier est soumis à une accélération dans une direction longitudinale de sorte à empêcher l'ouverture non intentionnelle dudit couvercle, ledit mécanisme de sécurité comportant également des seconds moyens élastiques (40) rappelant ledit pendule vers une position de repos dans laquelle il repose en appui contre une première butée (42) ménagée sur ledit boîtier.
