TOPOGRAPHICAL PLAYGROUND STRUCTURES AND A METHOD OF MAKING THE TOPOGRAPHICAL STRUCTURES
The present disclosure is directed to artificial topographical structures, such as mounds, installed at playgrounds using a structural framework. The structural framework is made up of a first plurality of panels extending in a first direction and a second plurality of panels extending in a second direction, with the second direction being transverse to the first direction. Each of the second plurality of panels may be connected to one or more of the first plurality of panels, such as through a complementary arrangement of slots. The artificial structure also includes at least a support layer and a cushion layer. The upper edges of the panels are designed to together provide an artificial mound having a defined contour.
La présente invention concerne des structures topographiques artificielles, telles que des montagnes, installées au niveau de terrains de jeux à l'aide d'une ossature structurale. L'ossature structurale est constituée d'une première pluralité de panneaux s'étendant dans une première direction et d'une seconde pluralité de panneaux s'étendant dans une seconde direction, la seconde direction étant transversale à la première direction. Chaque panneau de la seconde pluralité de panneaux peut être relié à un ou plusieurs de la première pluralité de panneaux, par exemple par l'intermédiaire d'un agencement complémentaire de fentes. La structure artificielle comprend également au moins une couche de support et une couche d'amortissement.
