A thermal and acoustical insulating shield and method of using are provided. The thermal and acoustical insulating shield includes a first binding layer includes organic first binding fibers. The shield further includes a second binding layer includes organic second binding fibers. The shield further includes an insulating layer disposed between the first binding layer and the second binding layer. The insulating layer includes a plurality of insulating fibers. The first and/or the second binding fibers of the first and/or the second binding layers are needledly disposed through the insulating layer to provide tufts of binding fibers protruding through the first and/or the second binding layer.
L'invention concerne un écran isolant thermique et acoustique et un procédé d'utilisation. L'écran isolant thermique et acoustique comprend une première couche de liaison comprenant des premières fibres de liaison organiques. L'écran comprend en outre une seconde couche de liaison comprenant des secondes fibres de liaison organiques. L'écran comprend en outre une couche isolante disposée entre la première couche de liaison et la seconde couche de liaison. La couche isolante comprend une pluralité de fibres isolantes. Les première et/ou seconde fibres de liaison des première et/ou seconde couches de liaison sont disposées de manière aiguilletée à travers la couche isolante pour fournir des touffes de fibres de liaison faisant saillie à travers la première et/ou la seconde couche de liaison.
