METHOD FOR INSTALLATION OF A TRANSITION PIECE ON A MONOPILE FOUNDATION
The present invention relates to a method for installation of a transition piece on a monopile foundation of an offshore wind turbine along a common axis extending in a longitudinal direction of the transition piece and the monopile foundation, the installation being done from a floating installation vessel, where the method comprises the following steps of arranging a plurality of buffer elements around an inner circumference of the transition piece and/or the monopile structure, lifting and lowering the transition piece onto the monopile structure by use of a crane, landing the transition piece onto the monopile structure through the plurality of buffer elements, using a number of hydraulic cylinder jacks for circumferential alignment of bolt holes provided in the transition piece and monopile, using alignment tools for alignment of the flanges provided on each of the transition piece and the monopile, installation of flange guide pins and lower bolts, lifting up transition piece and removing the plurality of buffer elements, lower the transition piece onto the monopile, and tensioning the bolts to fixate the transition piece to monopile.
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'installation d'une pièce de transition sur une fondation monopieu d'une éolienne en mer le long d'un axe commun s'étendant dans une direction longitudinale de la pièce de transition et de la fondation monopieu, l'installation étant réalisée à partir d'un vaisseau d'installation flottant. Ledit procédé comprend les étapes suivantes consistant à agencer une pluralité d'éléments tampons autour d'une circonférence interne de la pièce de transition et/ou de la structure de monopieu, lever et abaisser la pièce de transition sur la structure de monopieu au moyen d'une grue, poser la pièce de transition sur la structure de monopieu par l'intermédiaire de la pluralité d'éléments tampons, utiliser un certain nombre de vérins à levage hydraulique pour l'alignement circonférentiel de trous de boulon ménagés dans la pièce de transition et le monopieu, utiliser des outils d'alignement pour l'alignement des brides disposées sur chacune de la pièce de transition et du monopieu, installer des broches de guidage de bride et des boulons inférieurs, soulever la pièce de transition et retirer la pluralité d'éléments tampons, abaisser la pièce de transition sur la monopieu, et tendre les boulons pour fixer la pièce de transition au monopieu.
