Die Erfindung betrifft eine Abdeckung für eine Wand, umfassend: ein Abdeckungsprofil (3) mit einem Kopfschenkel (6) und seitlich von dem Kopfschenkel (6) angeordneten Seitenschenkeln (7, 8); ein Befestigungsprofil (4) zur Befestigung der Abdeckung auf der Wand, und ein Schutzprofil (5) zum Ableiten von Feuchtigkeit, wobei das Befestigungsprofil (4) an einem ersten Ende des Abdeckungsprofils (3) mit diesem verbunden ist; und das Schutzprofil (5) an einem dem ersten Ende gegenüberliegenden zweiten Ende des Abdeckungsprofils (3) mit diesem verbunden ist, und das Befestigungsprofil (4) derart gestaltet und angeordnet ist, dass ein Schutzprofil (5) eines weiteren Abdeckungsprofils (3) zwischen dem Befestigungsprofil (4) und dem Kopfschenkel (6) einführbar ist, um die Abdeckungsprofile (3, 3') miteinander zu verbinden, wobei das Befestigungsprofil (4) und das Abdeckungsprofil (3) über ein erstes Federelement (19) gegeneinander verspannt sind und/oder das Schutzprofil (5) und das Abdeckungsprofil (3) über ein zweites Federelement (24) gegeneinander verspannt sind.
