METHOD OF MAKING A DIAMOND COMPOSITE
The present invention relates to a method of making a diamond composite wherein a diamond green body is together with an infiltrant is placed onto a graphite crucible and wherein the graphite crucible is placed onto a carbon source such that during infiltration, excess infiltrant is leaked down to the carbon source and excess infiltrant is thus avoided on the diamond composites.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un composite de diamant dans lequel un corps cru de diamant associé à un agent infiltrant est placé sur un creuset en graphite et le creuset en graphite est placé sur une source de carbone de telle sorte que, pendant l'infiltration, l'agent infiltrant en excès est évacué vers la source de carbone ce qui permet d'éviter la présence d'agent infiltrant en excès sur les composites de diamant.
