BACK BOX MOUNTING BRACKET AND METHOD FOR A STUD WALL
A bracket (8) is provided for securing a back-box into a hole (5) in a wall board (4) of a stud wall. The bracket (8) has a back limb (9), side limbs (10) extend perpendicular from the back limb one from each proximal end of the back limb. Each side limb supports a fixing part (11) extending from the distal end of the side limb, parallel and away from the back limb. Each fixing part (11) is adapted to receive and threadedly engage at least one drywall screw. In use during installation the bracket can be inserted through the hole so that the fixing parts bear against the back face of the wall board adjacent the hole. Drywall screws are driven through the drywall from the front into the fixing parts to secure the bracket. A back-box is then inserted into the hole and secured to the back limb using a drywall screw driven through, through holes provided in the rear panel of the back-box and into tap holes (9.1) provided in the back limb.
L'invention concerne un support (8) qui est conçu pour fixer une boîte arrière dans un trou (5) dans une plaque de paroi (4) d'un mur à poteaux. Le support (8) présente une branche arrière (9), des branches latérales (10) s'étendant perpendiculairement à partir de chaque extrémité proximale de la branche arrière. Chaque branche latérale supporte une partie de fixation (11) s'étendant à partir de l'extrémité distale de la branche latérale, parallèle et éloignée de la branche arrière. Chaque partie de fixation (11) est conçue pour recevoir et mettre en prise par filetage au moins une vis de cloison sèche. Lors de l'utilisation pendant l'installation, le support peut être inséré à travers le trou de sorte que les parties de fixation reposent contre la face arrière de la plaque de paroi adjacente au trou. Des vis de cloison sèche sont entraînées à travers la cloison sèche à partir du devant dans les parties de fixation pour fixer le support.
