The invention relates to a device (10) for cooling a thermite weld (70) of a rail, comprising - a reservoir (2) suitable for storing a volume of water, - a pump (3), - an electronic control system (4) for controlling the pump (3), - a control button (8) for triggering the control system (4), - a spray lance (6) comprising a nozzle (61), said spray lance (6) being connected to the reservoir (2) via the pump (3), - a housing (1) from which the spray lance (6) projects towards the thermite weld (70) - and a support (7), the cooling device (10) being characterized in that the electronic control system (4) is suitable for triggering the spraying of a jet of water, from the nozzle (61) onto a weld (70) made on said rail, when an operator actuates the control button (8).
L'invention concerne un de refroidissement (10) d'une soudure aluminothermique (70) de rail, comprenant - un réservoir (2) adapté pour stocker un volume d'eau, - une pompe (3), - un système électronique de contrôle (4) pour commander la pompe (3), - un bouton de commande (8) pour déclencher le système de contrôle (4), - une canne de pulvérisation (6) comprenant une buse (61), ladite canne de pulvérisation (6) étant raccordée au réservoir (2) par l'intermédiaire de la pompe (3),- un boîtier (1) duquel la canne de pulvérisation (6) fait saillie en direction de la soudure aluminothermique (70), - un support (7), caractérisé en ce que le système électronique de contrôle (4) est adapté pour déclencher la projection d'un jet d'eau par la buse (61) après actionnement du bouton de commande (8) par un opérateur sur une soudure (70) effectuée sur ledit rail.
