Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betätigen eines Zugangssystems (10) eines Kraftfahrzeugs (3), wobei mittels einer Kameraanordnung (4) zumindest ein Fuß (5) einer Person (6) erfasst, mittels einem Softwarewerkzeug eine Orientierung (8) des Fußes (5) ermittelt und basierend auf der ermittelten Orientierung (8) dann eine Blickrichtung (9) der Person (6) ermittelt wird. Wenn die Blickrichtung (9) auf zumindest eine Klappe und/oder Türe (11) des Kraftfahrzeugs (3) gerichtet ist, wird mittels dem Zugangssystem (10) zumindest eine Klappe und/oder Türe (11) entriegelt und/oder automatisch öffnungsbetätigt. Wenn dagegen die Blickrichtung (9) nicht auf zumindest einen Klappe und/oder Türe (11) gerichtet ist, werden mittels des Zugangssystems (10) Klappen und/oder Türen (11) verriegelt und/oder automatisch schließbetätigt. Die Erfindung betrifft insbesondere eine Vorrichtung (25) zur Ausführung des besagten Verfahrens sowie ein Kraftfahrzeug (3) mit einer solchen Vorrichtung (25).
