The present invention provides a pole that can be equipped with devices of various sizes while avoiding making the appearance of the pole complicated. A pole (1) comprises shelf boards (3) that partition an internal space (2) of the pole (1), and doors (132, 161) that close partial spaces (4) separated by the shelf boards (3). The doors (132, 161) have a structure in which the size of the surface of the doors (132, 161) is variable. The size of the partial spaces (4) is changed by changing the position of the shelf boards (3). Each of the partial spaces (4) is closed by changing the size of the surface of the doors (132, 161). Devices (90) having predetermined functions are stored in the partial spaces (4).
