DETECTING LEAKAGES IN UNDERGROUND PIPELINES
The invention relates to a method and a system for detecting at least one leak (13) or at least one leak property in an underground pipeline (1), the underground pipeline (1) being arranged near an underground conduit (2,3) which is either a sewage conduit (2) or a surface water conduit (3), the method comprising the steps of: providing at least one optical sensing fibre (5) that extends inside and along underground conduit (2,3); obtaining distributed acoustic sensing data from the optical sensing fibre (5); and using the obtained distributed acoustic sensing data to detect the leak (13) the at least one leak property in the underground pipeline (1).
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de détection d'au moins une fuite (13) ou d'au moins une propriété d'une fuite dans une canalisation souterraine (1), la canalisation souterraine (1) étant disposée à proximité d'une conduite souterraine (2, 3) qui est soit une conduite d'égout (2), soit une conduite d'eau de surface (3), le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : utiliser au moins une fibre de détection optique (5) qui s'étend à l'intérieur et le long de la conduite souterraine (2, 3) ; obtenir des données de détection acoustique distribuées en provenance de la fibre de détection optique (5) ; et utiliser les données de détection acoustique distribuées obtenues pour détecter la ou les fuites (13), ou la ou les propriétés de la fuite dans la canalisation souterraine (1).
